Wisdom Window launched in March 2014 as a web based platform for transformational online training.  Content providers who speak, train and coach in the areas of Personal Development, Health and Fitness, Business, and Education/Homeschool, have been putting up their content in "Windows".  The content is both free and paid, providing valuable training for thousands of members across the world.

About Thom & Tresta Neil

We are the happy parents of eight wonderful children. Thom is from New Hampshire and served a mission in Italy.  I am from New Mexico and served a mission in Holland.  We met while working at a nursing home in Provo, Utah before my mission.  Thom wrote me on my mission and then married me shortly after I returned.  After we had 4 children (in 41/2 years) Thom brought up the idea of homeschooling and I thought he was absolutely crazy!! After attending a few homeschooling conferences I decided to try it and we've never looked back.

While Teaching my children, I gained an education I never received in high school or college.  I feel smart.  Now we teach others how to organize their learning, their papers and how to make notebooks with their children while building relationships.  :)

Thom has likewise always maintained a love of learning. Several years ago he turned his attention to public speaking and mentoring. He has had many opportunities to continue his education studying presentation, body language, and mentoring. He loves to share these gifts daily. Thom is an enthusiastic, passionate, loyal husband to Tresta and dad to eight amazing children. He introduced homeschooling to his family and has encouraged its success in their home.  Enthusiasm for life's good, passion for his family and trust in the Lord led him through the darkest of valleys including his son's liver failure and transplantation.  His experiences give him insight into the eyes of those he mentors. With his passion for learning and continued education from life, he inspires other men, women and their children to a life full of transformational learning. The Keystone Logo

The letters are created in stone with light and dark shades.

The symbol between the two words is called a vesica pieces or fish bladder.  It is created with two identical circles overlapping at their centers and sharing a radius.  The shared area has a glowing heart representing the love of God.  This inner shape has many meanings.  One of them is that it represents a doorway.  Many cathedrals have half of this shape over the doorway depicting the way to heaven is through these doors.  The worldly ideas on the outside and the spiritual teachings on the inside.  Another meaning for this shape is The Fall the pulling away from the whole or God and the wanting to return.  This pulling away creates a need for Jesus Christ and the atonement.  Many artists use this symbol when painting Jesus Christ.  Jesus comes through the door to assist those of us on earth and shows us the way to return back to God and His love through the door of the vesica pieces.

Who has been your biggest influence in business?

As a young girl in Jr high and high school, I would hurry home to watch Oprah. She had a way of inspiring me, a small town Idaho girl. She shared herself with the world and they seemed to want more. It seemed there was nothing she couldn't do. I remember her talking about having these "ah ha" moments. I wanted an "ah ha" moment. I always knew deep inside of me there was a courageous and strong girl with a message and a story to tell.....I waited for that "ah ha" to show me the way! Needless to say it took longer than I thought or had planned. I love that Oprah was a woman pursuing her dreams and getting better and better every year at being more authentic. She followed her heart and her dreams. She didn't take no for an answer. She is persistent, determined, and has a smooth system of business that amazes us all. She has influenced me to do the same, find my passion and pursue my dreams and to never ever give up! This approach to Liberal Arts is very different from just teaching evaluating, comparing, analyzing, and memorizing.  Rather we concentrate on practicing and developing imagination, inspiration, and intuition, all higher levels of mindfulness.  The self-knowledge theme of the program provides the motivation to study the associated materials because virtually everyone is interested in themselves.  This guided survey of the Humanities and its interdisciplinary nature help make the material simpler to understand and assimilate.  Knowing the whole picture facilitates putting the pieces of a puzzle together.   The sense of wholeness provides purpose and meaning to self-study and helps make a pleasure what otherwise might be work.

The ability to think in an imaginative and creative manner is no less important than the abilities to memorize and to solve problems.  Classics Insights offers important insights into thinking, creativity and imagination that are essential to being a successful Human Being.

The fact that we do not have buildings or high-priced instructors enables us to deliver this education entirely online in a very affordable manner.

From the Desk of Robert: I’m an educator/trainer/coach at heart. I started a career out of college in the field of human services and worked there for 6 years. I learned a lot and even moved up to the position of Director in my last human services company but eventually learned that I was not ready for a long term career in that field. So, I moved in the field of teaching (strange story: my parents saw a video that I had done in my senior of college and felt that I would make a great teacher but they didn’t tell me this until about 8 years later. They felt that if they had told me, I would have just done the opposite anyway. Was I THAT rebellious?). I taught middle school English for about 5 months and then got a full time position as a high school science teacher. I did that for 7 years. I was nominated for the Who’s Who Among American Teachers by some students but I’m pretty sure that award was received by most of the teachers in the school since you have to PAY to be included. Maybe I should have paid.

While I was teaching, I started a web promotions company, Kay3Music.com, and a web design company, Kay 3 D-Zynes. I was great at interviewing and getting into places. I stunk at marketing so ultimately, the promotions company didn’t make much money. I was great at learning new code and new designs but was just really learning about managing projects and people. Oh, by the way, I stunk at marketing too, so while we had some great clients, the web design firm didn’t earn enough to continue growth. I was an online college faculty for two years but eventually got into instructional design and elearning development. I started RKCS Learning Solutions in 2009. I’m still not great at marketing but I’m learning that I don’t have to do it myself. There are actually people that get paid for this. Imagine that! As a part of my work with this company, I was able to complete my first book in 2012, Articulate Studio 09 Cookbook. This book was more technical in nature and related to a specific software.

In May 2013, I released 28 Days To A New Me: A Journey Of Commitment. I will be releasing the audiobook in Jan. 2014. I have been married to my wife, Nadia, for 12 years and we have 3 awesome kids. We currently reside in Baltimore County, Maryland. Some people say that they have free time, but I prefer to say that I make time to play basketball, softball, golf, as well as my keyboard and guitar. I have been a musician and music lover for as long as I can remember and currently serve as a Worship Leader in my church in Ashton, Maryland.  Come join us!
